Mosaic Volunteer Philosophy
"Working together with staff, Mosaic volunteers assist the people we support to change their lives through increased social opportunities, affirmed self-worth and enhanced independence by offering direct support services, administrative support services, counsel and personal friendship."
Volunteers at Mosaic
Volunteers help the people who choose Mosaic supports build connections to the wider community. Mosaic welcomes volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. There are many ways to volunteer at Mosaic. We welcome both groups and individuals to be a part of our one-time Days of Service or to make an ongoing volunteer commitment. We also welcome church groups and civic organizations to participate in our Adopt-A-Home program. Mosaic believes that volunteers are partners in our mission. Read about our commitment to you and our expectations of you as a volunteer in our Mutual Expectations brochure.
